InternationalOverseas Study Abroad Program
There is currently a shortage of people who have both knowledge of content work such as film, animation, CG and IT programming, as well as proficient language ability. This university has prepared a study abroad program that both raises one's language ability and allows one to learn about digital content from around the world. We cultivate people capable of flourishing throughout the world through the original environment set up to make it easy to study abroad. DHU has established an original study abroad program that makes it "easy to study abroad" and helps one to "learn the arts of the world". In addition to learning the language of one's study abroad destination country, one can also study each country's creative arts and technologies. Also, the program gives consideration to the expenses and the time spent studying abroad, thus reducing the burden on the students.

DHU wants many students to accumulate valuable experiences abroad. Through such a desire, this university takes study abroad expenses into consideration. We support our students with up to 1 million yen for tuition, depending on the study abroad destination*. It is possible for students to freely choose their destination country/institution and period of time abroad (from short-term to long-term).
* Tuition varies based on the study abroad destination school and period of time abroad. The amount of support money given is decided individually.

Many students hesitate to study abroad because even though they want to, they think they would have to repeat a year or take time off from school to do so. At DHU, we take into consideration our students' tuition and the number of years they stay in school. Our university has established a system which certifies the credits our students earn at their study abroad locations. This system makes it possible to graduate in four years without taking time off from school or repeating a year, depending on how students acquire their credits.

Many of the overseas universities and institutions of higher education with which this university has signed agreements have departments that are related to IT and creative content. Therefore, it is possible to study not only languages, but also each country's arts and technologies. Also, after studying abroad, one's language ability rises rapidly (see the data below). Both language and technological abilities increase.
