Cutting-edge facilities and support system for a fulfilling university life<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

DHU students lead a unique university life, pursuing their dreams. To ensure that each student can enjoy a fulfilling university life, we provide facilities and an environment that encourages students’ creative activities. In addition, DHU provides a variety of support for students in their studies and daily life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Support for international students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At our university, international students are required to take the same classes as domestic students, so improving Japanese language proficiency is essential. In “Basic Japanese” and “Japanese,” we offer level-based instruction to help students acquire the Japanese language skills they need for university studies and job hunting. We also regularly hold job hunting seminars and international exchange events for international students, so that they can enjoy their student life in a foreign country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Support for PC beginners<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We offer a discounted sale of PCs (Windows\/Mac) exclusively for students of our university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the entrance guidance, we will give a lecture on everything from the basic operation of a PC to the installation of software used in classes and how to use email and the intranet groupware, in a way that even beginners can understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free distribution of softwares<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While enrolled, you can use Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, and various Google services (all student or educational institution versions) for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All night free time (ANFT)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In principle, it is held four times a week on weekdays. You can work on your creative activities in the PC classroom from 10:00 PM after the university closes until 8:00 AM the next day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANY (Video materials)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Video materials that can be used for “flipped learning” where you learn in class and review at home, and for learning in other fields outside of your classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course consultation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We present a recommended curriculum model for each field, tailored to each student’s interests and future career path. Dedicated staff will provide you with detailed advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health care<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The university has a health room and AEDs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also conduct a regular health checkup once a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the purpose of early detection of diseases and understanding of health status, it can also be used when a health check-up certificate is required for employment or further education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also offer vaccinations to those who wish to receive them during periods when infectious diseases (such as influenza) are prevalent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can consult a counseling specialist directly on campus about any concerns you may have about your student life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dormitory<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For students who are studying away from home, we provide a complete internet environment and offer guidance to students who wish to use the designated student dormitory, which offers meals carefully prepared by a nutritionist for health considerations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
