デジタルとクリエイティブの力で自分を表現する18歳以下のみなさんを応援する、 デジタルハリウッド大学主催「U-18アーティストコンテスト」。

16回目の開催となる2024年度は昨年同様、 イラスト部門、3DCG部門、映像部門の3部門で作品を募集します。 テーマは「あなた自身が選ぶマイベスト作品」もしくは「思い出」です。

あなたの情熱を私たちにぶつけてください。

DHU U-18 Artist Contest is a contest organized by Digital Hollywood University, which is held since 2009 to provide a platform for young people worldwide to express their creative talents and skills.

You can enter three categories this year, including illustration, 3D computer graphics, and short movies. Your entries will be judged by the professionals in the creative industry.

We are looking forward to receiving your entries that express your passions.

エントリー対象者 18歳以下の個人またはグループ

Eligible Participants An individual or a group of individuals aged 18 and younger regardless of your nationality and place of residence.

*This contest is for amateurs only.
Theme There is no theme. Feel free to submit your best work of your own choice for all categories.

    A4 size(210mm x 297mm), 300 pixel/inch (for digital art)

  • ◆3DCG Category(still image)
    A4 size(210mm x 297mm), 300 pixel/inch
    Data format: .jpg or .png
  • ◆Short Movie Category
    Full HD(1920 x 1080)
    Each movie must be no longer than 3 minutes
    Data format: .mov or .mp4
    *Live-action, CG, animation, and other type of videos shall be acceptable.
    ※If the language used in the video is other than Japanese or English, you will be required to add subtitles either in Japanese or English to your video.

※Your entries are carefully assessed and shall meet the following selection criteria (including, but not limited to):
・ Originality – your entry must be original artwork. Derivative works and fan art are not acceptable.
・ Theme – does your artwork have a message or theme behind it?
・ Presentation – it matters to present your artwork compellingly and interestingly.
・ New challenges – Your artwork should show your willingness to take on new challenges.

Q.コンテストエントリー期間中に19歳になります。エントリーは可能ですか？I will turn 19 years old during the contest entry period. Am I eligible to enter this contest?

A.“エントリー時”に18歳であれば、エントリー可能ですYou are eligible to enter the contest as long as you are still 18 years old at the time of entry.

Q.制作チームに18歳以上のメンバーがいます。エントリーは可能ですか？One of my team member is over 18 years old. Can I still enter the contest?

A.残念ながらエントリー頂けません。Unfortunately, you cannot enter this contest if you are entering the contest as a group and one of the members is over 18 years old.

Q.チームの人数に制限はありますか？Is there a limit to the number of people on a team?

A.18歳以下のチームであれば、人数に制限はございません。There is no maximum or the minimum number of team members as long as all the members are 18 years old or younger.

Q.作品は複数出しても良いですか？Can I submit more than one entry?

A.1つの部門へ複数作品でのエントリー、複数部門へのエントリーのどちらも可能です。Multiple entries are allowed. You can either submit multiple entries for one category or one entry for multiple categories.

Q.手書きの作品でエントリーしても良いですか？Can I submit a handwritten work?

A.手書き（アナログ作品）でのエントリーも可能です。Handwritten (analog) entries are accepted.

Q.映像作品はデモリールでも良いですか？Can I use a demo reel for the short movie category?

A.デモリールでのエントリーも可能ですが、一番アピールしたい作品動画も合わせて、2つの作品でエントリーください。Yes, you can submit a demo reel, but please submit the video you want to showcase the most along with the demo reel.

Q.他のコンテストに提出した作品でエントリーしても良いですか？Can I submit an entry that has been submitted to other contests?

A.エントリー可能です。Yes, you can.

Q.エントリーできない作品はありますか？Are there any works that will not be eligible for this contest?

A.二次創作（ファンアート）や、作品内で使用している画像・写真・企業ロゴ・音楽について、使用許諾を得ていない作品についてはエントリーが出来ません。フリー素材・音源については、素材サイトの使用条件を満たしている場合のみ、使用可能です。Entries that cannot be accepted include derivative works (fan art) or works consisting of images, photographs, company logos, or music that are used without permission. Free materials and audio sources may be used if they meet the conditions defined in the Terms and Conditions.
