創作活動は、自分の思い描いた世界を形にできる楽しい時間です。同時に、技術・思考・表現など多くの面において正解のない問いに向き合い、自分自身や作品に対して、時に批判的思考をもって向き合わねばならない大変さも持っています。
それでも作品を作り続けられるのは、出来上がった作品を通じて、自分の思い描いた世界を誰かと共有できる喜びがあるからだと思います。
応募されてくる多くの力作を通じて、みなさんが心の中に思い描いた世界に触れられるのを楽しみにしています。

Creative activities are an enjoyable time where you can turn your imagination into creative work. At the same time, it can be challenging because we have to face questions that have no correct answers in terms of technique, thought, expression, and many other aspects, and we sometimes have to face ourselves and our works with critical thinking. Nevertheless, we believe that what keeps people doing what they're doing is the joy of being able to share the world they envision with others through their works. We look forward to seeing the world you have visualized in your mind through the many masterpieces submitted to the competition.
