プロフィール
Hello. My name is Gillian and I come from London, England. I am very interested in Japanese culture and I have been living in Tokyo for almost 20 years. I enjoy talking with my students and hearing their opinions. Let’s talk soon.
I graduated from the University of East Anglia, UK with an undergraduate degree in Sociology. I graduated from Birkbeck College, University of London with a masters degree in Japanese Cultural Studies. I was a Japanese government scholarship recipient (MEXT Scholar) and studied for two years at the University of Tokyo as an international research student. I researched about nostalgia and cultural products such as film and fashion.
I have been teaching English at the university level in Japan for the last 15 years. English communication, discussion and debate, presentation and speeches, essay writing and English for academic purposes.
